Congratulations to everyone at Geelong Western Beach Boat Club with the official launch of the Montague Naval Whaler, named Little Malop. It took two years and a lot of devoted people to restore this original clinker-built yawl built at HMNZS Tamaki for the New Zealand navy in 1942.
Making Waves will be launching their boat building program for disengaged young people, Wright of Passage, for a new generation of potential boat builders in partnership with the Western Beach Boat Club in the next few months.
