Sydney CYCA

Parking

The first driveway directly next to the CYCA is best used for wheelchair dropoffs. For parking, continue a few meters along New Beach Rd (keep the water to your left) and you will find a second driveway with a full gate and intercom. A MWF volunteer will provide access. For larger buses (greater than 12 seats), use the parking area beside the MWF office at L1, 1C New Beach Rd.

Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled sail time. The later you arrive, the less time you will have on the water! If you are late, can’t find us or have any difficulties on the day please do not hesitate to call our office (0421 725 170) or your skipper on the day.

Toilets

Please use the toilets at CYCA before your sail as you may not have the chance for multiple hours. Toileting options once onboard are very limited. Your MWF volunteer will assist you in accessing the facilities.

Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club

Parking

Limited 2-hour parking is available at each end of the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club, with wheelchair-accessible parking located outside the front of the club entrance. Additional street parking is available along Hannell Street.

Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled sail time. The later you arrive, the less time you will have on the water! If you are late, can’t find us or have any difficulties on the day, please call your skipper.

Toilets

We strongly recommend that you use the toilets before your sail as there are no toileting options once onboard, and you may not have the chance again for multiple hours. Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club has wheelchair accessible bathroom facilities. Just ask the front desk staff or one of the MWF volunteer crew members who will be able to direct you.

Melbourne Docklands Jetty

Parking

There are 2 disabled parking spots on the short road between the Maternal & Child Health Centre on the left and Docklands Library and Buluk Park on the right. The park is a good place to have lunch after your sail and includes a cafe. This short road to park on, is not named on online maps. So search by Buluk Park, or Docklands Library. Additional standard parking is available on Collins St.

Toilets

Please use the toilets at Docklands before your sail as you may not have the chance for multiple hours. Your MWF volunteer will take you all upstairs to the facilities & check passenger names in this enclosed, safe corridor while this occurs. We also have access to a downstairs disabled access toilet if required.

Royal Geelong Yacht Club

Parking

The best location to disembark is at Stony Pier Lane, which is the main entrance to the yacht club. After disembarking, the best places to park are along Eastern Beach Rd or in the Eastern Beach Reserve. Our boat will be berthed at the Floating Marina through the gate where the Yot Cafe is.

Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled sail time. The later you arrive, the less time you will have on the water! If you are late, can’t find us or have any other difficulties on the day, please do not hesitate to call the Victoria State Manager: Natasja McClay (0405-441-207).

The first driveway off Davenport Drive is a public parking lot that can fit large buses. From there it is a short walk to the Yacht Club.
