Australian Wooden Boat Festival
@ 8:00 am - @ 5:00 pm
The Making Waves Foundation’s “Wright of Passage” program offers hands-on opportunities for personal growth and job readiness, focusing on wooden boat building, sailing, and mentoring. Over four days, part of the Wright of Passage team will expertly construct a Rainbow dinghy hull showcasing the Wright of Passage program. Wright of Passage currently operates in Sydney and Geelong, with launches in Newcastle and Brisbane in 2025 and hopes to reach a national scale including Hobart, Melbourne and elsewhere as possible.
We will be raffling the dinghy being built during the festival. Support Making Waves by entering raffle here: Win a Brand New Rainbow Dinghy! – Making Waves
